History: Nogu was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a brown shirt with thin pastel vertical stripes and grey pants. Her long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Melissa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Melissa decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is short and black. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a bricklayer and was forced into it by his family
