History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aelar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Bidreked was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barrister. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bidreked was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
