History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Tharivol was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has taken up work as a Cartwright and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Bethrynna was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is content

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born into a rich family. She worked as a nervous Servant and found it very stressful. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she is unsatisfied with her job
