History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: William is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Bathin hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Through the years after Bathin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bathin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and someone believes him a fraud
