History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his axe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Torinn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to open a new tavern
