History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Stableman, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Vaina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
