History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. During his travels, Aust and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Aust discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Aust fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Oriax hails from a village terrorized by giants. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Ilga was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has wavy golden hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
