Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Symma embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels threatened by others

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her greataxe with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Emmeline was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She became a Brewer soon after.
