History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born in the east. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To be a Armorer again; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Perra learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats
