History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Jarana was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Cartwright. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sutha hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
