Description: Standing 4'8", this man very much looks the part of a Layabout. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A freak accident while working with his Barber father left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a barber again

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'3" when asserting herself. Her purple hair is braided into rings. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His white hair is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sapply embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sapply was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and sabotage a competitor
