She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her sai, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. She wears her black hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
