History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ekemon grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Ekemon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ekemon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
