Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Vadania lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Hlin was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
