He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines silver.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in a small desert village. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: He is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Expand his business; and an old rival family wants him found
