She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
