History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Mella was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
