History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Vonana is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now owns her own business.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Gurdis was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
