History: Born in the south to a Unemployed, Adrie learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she has a crush on the local body guard

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Tatyan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tatyan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tatyan and her spouse have recently divorced.
