Barbena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Barbena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair is white and curly. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A true patriot, Marastyr would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she is greedy
