History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Glassblower job and began his own company from there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: He was born into a rich family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
