Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oppleby embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Voice: Jittery and nervous

Description: He wears brown trousers with tan and violet striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, and he perpetually has his falchion ready. His yellow fur is thinning but still full. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of a Architect, who enjoyed hunting, Emerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. Emerald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and to clean up the streets
