Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He has achieved small success as a Bowyer.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born in the south. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His hair is short and auburn. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to be a sage again

Description: This malnourished man wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple blue line shooting up and back down. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 25. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rurik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
