Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Berrian and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Berrian discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Berrian fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

After coming to the age of reason, Geoffrey took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Elizabeth wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
