History: Born in the north to a Merchant, Raer learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Barbena's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Barbena does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
