Description: She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her cinnamon fur is heavily combed to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: He wears a brown shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He has no fur. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, River is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She wears her brown hair up. Her eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Ploughman, but she got bored and became a Butcher. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
