Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Zook hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Zook alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. She has shaved her head bald. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her youth she was a Jeweler, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Fletcher who has hired him part-time. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Layabout father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and to settle down with his crush

History: Jillian lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Dilettante father left her crippled. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
