History: Grigi lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Sailor, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Vondal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His hair is long and silver with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found
