History: Gifted from a young age, Joan studied abroad. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.
