Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vani embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Vani and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her black eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Vapula never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
