Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ielenia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ielenia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Mastema hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
