Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jane embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.
