History: Vanuath was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Vanuath abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Torinn hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Torinn has worked very hard to control his curse. He's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
