Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by giants. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Alex has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Description: He is wearing a long, brown cloak. He is portly but not overly obese. He has moderate length lavender fur. He has blue eyes and a brown hat with a pastel feather.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pelt is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Pelt and his spouse have recently divorced.
