History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vilberg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Shipwright and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Shanairla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Mehen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
