Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Drifting lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Giselle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
