Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Herbalist but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. River liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, River and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was born in a small plains village. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
