History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents enrolled him in a Ranger school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with white slacks. Her long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Alice is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Alice lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull black iron scale mail. She has slicked back red hair. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her broad violet hat.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Through the years after Vadania was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vadania's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and wants a kiss

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears skinny pants and wears a black and blue robe with the hood down, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: Cairn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Cairn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and many brigands want him driven away
