History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. After a long history of fighting, Beiro and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
