History: Born in the east to a Assassin, Hatae learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Hatae never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
