History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Roland was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Farmer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things
