History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. History: She was born in a small plains village. Emma liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.
