History: He was born into a rich family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This malnourished man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Oppleby will drive conversation. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second son.
