History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Merihim is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Merihim hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Therai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against drow

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
