Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
