History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Map Maker, but she got bored and became a Tanner. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
