History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valorean grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Eida's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She comes from a rich western family. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Eida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
