History: Pelt was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Engraver soon after.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. A gifted student she started as a Mayor, but she got bored and became a Tanner. She's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. She keeps her blue hair in a pixie cut. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Anakis lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Servant, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To end her boredom.
