Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He is dressed in earthy colors with a violet and black handkerchief worn on his left side. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a red tunic with black highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around her shoes. She wears her silver hair down. Her eyes are brown.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a brown tunic with green highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her black fur is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Shifting is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and a deep hatred of brigands
