Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Morkral and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Dee speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Morgran took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a Scribe soon after.
